Sorry about the not-so-nice looking page. I had made something better and hosted it on hypermart, but when they stopped providing free-hosting, I lost what I had made. This is the README which you'll find in the client.
gtk+ based Hot Wire Authentication Client - by progzer
(If primus has a problem with this name I'll change it to Garam Taar!)

LATEST README should be at http://ghotwire.sourceforge.net [http://digitnet.hypermart.net/hw]

WARNING :
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is NOT an official product for authentication
of a Hotwire internet Services account.

Hotwire - Powered by Primus INTERNET, has nothing to do with this client
and shall not be held responsible for any harm rendered to you or your
computer and/or any of its perpherals.

Neither do I give any gaurantees of this product (That should be clear by
now from the informal language!). I may be interested in helping out with
debugging the client for your system, ask me, very nicely!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

copy, untar and unzip the archive into your home folder (or whever you want to)
(check the name of the tarball)
                cp ghotWire.tar.gz /usr/bin
                cd /usr/bin
                tar -zxvf ghotWire.tar.gz
(you may now remove the tarball - rm ghotWire.tar.gz)

		For source distribution use:
		cd ghotwire
		./configure
		make
		make install (optionally)

usage: (./)ghotwire -l -u -v
-l : turn on logging (you need to be root)
        -u : Name of your browser/user agent
default is "mozilla" This is used by the Change Password
Option
-v : turn on verbose mode
To Save your Server IP, Username and Password to the config file
Or to change connection settings later, run client as root

the -u option is used to set if your web browser is not called on a shell
by using "mozilla". Since a Hotwire account password is changed on your local
provider's portal, the program needs to know what your web browser is invoked
with.

Latest release can always be found at http://ghotwire.sourceforge.net [http://digitnet.hypermart.net/hw]

For the security paranoid:
[Dec 11 2003] hotWire.conf is now stored in the home directory of
the person who executes ghotwire. The configureation file is now
~/ghotwire.conf .
The user data in /etc/hotWire.conf is stored in PLAIN TEXT format.
It may give you the sense of insecurity, atleast it doesn't give
you a false sense of security. Plus since this is for the Linux
platform whose filesystem is secure by nature, so if someone can read
your (precious!) user information then that person can read
a LOT more - be afraid... be very afraid!

Your Server IP, Username and Password would be saved in a config file
after that you may launch the client by just running ./ghotWire
To change connection settings later, run client as directed in usage

Oh yeah and one last thing, send me some money if you've got lots and
don't know what to do with it or if you want me to keep up the good work.
